Working Ranch Horse

In the Working Ranch Horse Project, 4-H members learn the skills needed in a real, working ranch setting such as roping and sorting cattle. Weber County families interested in joining the 4-H Working Ranch Horse club should call the Weber County 4-H office at (801) 399-8202. Club members meet together to develop ranch horse skills using both roping dummies and practicing on horseback with live cattle. Members showcase their skills in competitive county and regional events called Working Ranch Horse Gatherings.
