4-H Shooting Sports

Rifle, Shotgun and Archery

The 4-H Shooting Sports program provides youth with opportunities to safely practice and perfect their skills as marksman, grow in their leadership abilities, and compete in both state and national shooting sports invitationals. 
This is a program area with a lot of interest in our county!  We are always looking for volunteers to help run and facilitate clubs. If you are interested in starting a club, please contact heather.thomson@usu.edu


How to get started: 

All youth enrolled must have completed a Hunter Safety Course

Create an account at https://4h.zsuite.org and choose one of the following shooting sports clubs listed below. Please be sure to reach out to the listed club leader before registering, as clubs fill up quickly. 

Youth must be at least 8 years old and in third grade to participate.

Fill out a Club Charter Form and email to heather.thomson@usu.edu 

All shooting sports leaders must complete the following training(s) 

Rifle (.22), Shotgun, Archery
Western Heritage: Cowboy Action Shooting
