4-H At Home | February

February 4-H At Home features a focus on Nutrition and Healthy Habits.  The weekly activities are designed to help youth gain an understanding of the role of good nutrition and a healthy mindset in their daily lives and help them learn to develop healthy habits themselves and their families.

Additional information regarding 4-H Foods & Cooking opportunities can be found in the Family and Consumer Science programs tab.

This week take time to assess your current habits by completing a nutrition & healthy habits check up.
  • Are you eating the right amount of fruits and vegetables?

Keep up with tracking your progress and success in your Healthy Habits journal.
You've got this!  Developing the habits of being a healthy and active individual is just around the corner!  Look back at how much you have learned and changed in the last three weeks.

Ask yourself: "How am I feeling now compared to when I started?"
  • Do you have more energy?
  • Do you feel healthier?
  • Do you feel happier?
  • How many challenges have you completed? Are you physically active at least 30 minutes every day?
  • Are you using the MyPlate app?
  • What new foods or recipes have you tried? Do you have a favorite?
Describe your progress in your Healthy Habits journal.
