Geyer Willow is a woody shrub that can grow up to 15 feet tall. It is found near streams or in wetlands throughout the western U.S.
The Geyer willow is useful to many animals.
Moose and elk eat its branches and bark, especially in the winter. Many birds and some small mammals eat its leaves, flowers and flowers (catkins). Beaver use the trunks for their lodges and dams.

Geyer willow isn't great for everyone. Some people are very allergic to its pollen.
