Nope. East Canyon Creek is usually very clear. It doesn't carry as much soil as the Colorado River because it travels a much shorter distance and through a very different landscape.
During a rain storm or when snow is melting very fast even East Canyon Creek can become turbid because the runoff carries soil with it.
When we're not careful with construction and other practices on land, rivers like East Canyon can become polluted with too much soil.
