Alexi Lamm

USU Facilities Sustainability Coordinator

Alexi Lamm

Biography

Alexi became Utah State University’s first sustainability coordinator in 2012 and third Sustainability Council chair in 2016. She works with faculty, staff, and students to integrate sustainability into campus operations and academic programs. Alexi has a BFA from Arkansas State University and an MPA from Indiana University. After discovering she not only likes working on sustainable systems, she also likes teaching them, she decided to pursue another three-letter degree from the Quinney College of Natural Resources. Her interests relate to the social psychology of adopting environmental behaviors.

Prior to moving to Utah, she worked in the Indiana University Office of Sustainability and volunteered with Peace Corps. Now, she works on air quality with the Cache Clean Air Consortium and Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee. If you see her outside work and school, she’s most likely wearing a bike helmet, eating fresh berries, making a snow angel, admiring dappled light, petting the neighbor cat (but not at the same time).
