Permaculture Workshops

What is Permaculture?

Permaculture uses a systems approach to design, seeing the site – and the wider ecological and man-made systems interacting with the site – as connected. The design focuses on perennial agricultural ecosystems that emphasize renewability, sustainability, and self-sufficiency.

Why participate?

Day one of the workshop will include an all-day training, where you will learn to break down traditional thought patterns, open your perception to design possibilities, and learn key aspects of permacultural design. Joel Glanzberg, an expert and author in the fields of permaculture and ecological restoration, will facilitate this all-day training. On day two, throw on your work boots and gloves as we will implement a permaculture rain garden.

The training cost is $25 dollars for adults,  $15 dollars for students.
