Freshmen Green 15 Initiative Launched

Teens Turning Green is a student led movement devoted to education and advocacy around environmentally sustainable and socially responsible choices for individuals, schools, and communities. The group seeks to engage youth in transitioning from conventional to conscious, empowering the next generation and mobilizing action to sustain our earth.

The Teens Turning Green group has developed an informative and actionable resource for first year (and all) students called Freshman Green 15 (FG15). This brand new initiative has the following goals:

  • Inform first year students about conscious living as they arrive on their new campuses
  • Inspire them to get involved in campus sustainability ideals and initiatives
  • Engage students to be involved in Project Green Challenge 2013, a global call to action for college students to transition from conventional to conscious living

Check out the link here for more information about FG15 and the PGC 2013 flyer to sign up.
