EPA Offers "What you Can Do" Guide for Wastes

Did you know that Lead-Acid Car Batteries can be returned to almost any store that sells car batteries? The lead and plastics from the batteries can then be recycled and used to manufacture new products. In the USA, we recycle about 96 percent of lead-acid car batteries! The  "What You Can Do" guide offers users an easy-to-use resource for reducing waste and saving money. Tips are provided for the home and garden, on the go, at work, at school, and in the community. The guide also allows for a search by season, by subject, and there is a full "how-to" page dedicated to recycling products ranging from batteries to household hazardous waste.
