Schedule a free "Slow the Flow" water check

What is a water check?

A water check analyzes the efficiency of your automated sprinkler system. Trained workers will perform the water check at your home and provide you with a customized watering schedule.

The tests that will be performed include soil type, grass root depth, sprinkler distribution uniformity and water pressure. The entire process will take approximately one hour.

When and where are they available?

Water checks are available from May through August in the following counties: Davis, Duchesne, Garfield, Iron, Juab, Morgan, Piute, Salt Lake, Summit, Uintah, Utah, Wasatch, Washington and Weber.

How much does it cost?

The water check program is a free service sponsored by your water provider.

This program is sponsored by: Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District, Central Utah Water Conservancy District, Washington County Water Conservancy District, Sandy City, Murray City, Salt Lake City, Metropolitan Water District of Salt Lake and Sandy, Central Iron County Water Conservancy District and Utah State University.
