    Park and Protected Area Management - Dr. Zach Miller is currently seeking a highly qualified candidate committed to pursuing graduate research that explores park and protected area management, including visitor use management, human-wildlife relationships, and environmental communication. The successful applicant will be involved in a variety of collaborative projects in wildland settings. Depending upon the student’s background, interests, and future career goals, they will have the opportunity to pursue a MS degree in Environment and Society or Recreation Resource
    Management. The successful candidate should have a strong desire to engage in rigorous social science research using a diverse set of methodologies (e.g., statistical modeling, visitor use monitoring, semi-structured interviews). Read more about the assistantship here. Contact Dr. Miller at zachary.miller@usu.edu if you would like to learn more.
