Our Mission

At the heart of the USU Equine Experience is our commitment to fostering healing and personal growth through the profound human-equine connection. This center will serve as a dynamic nexus for interdisciplinary collaboration, uniting faculty and students across Utah in the realms of teaching, research, and community engagement.

Our vision is to significantly broaden the scope and impact of EAS through a comprehensive approach that encompasses:

1. Education: Enhancing academic excellence by offering specialized programs like the academic certificate in equine-assisted services, thereby preparing a new generation of skilled professionals in EAS.

2. Applied Research: Fostering innovative partnerships, such as our collaboration with the Veterans Administration, to explore and expand the scientific understanding and effectiveness of EAS.
