What is Cache Makers?
Cache Makers hosts a multitude of volunteer-led youth groups focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Joining Cache Makers 4-H club and signing up for a group is a great way to start learning interesting things, continue learning about something you are already interested in, or meet like-minded individuals.
What is a Makerspace?
A Makerspace is a community-operated, non-profit workspace. Here, people with common interests (computers, machining, technology, science, digital art), can meet, socialize, and collaborate with the maker mindset of creating something out of nothing and exploring your own interests.

What We Offer
Cachemakers offers classes, clubs, and events on the following topics. Click on a topic of interest to get more information.
This game encourages problem solving. You need to use your imagination to solve any problem, you need to ask yourself and your team how to overcome any obstacle! DnD can be such a great way for kids to interact with each other without the use of screens and is a great opportunity for collaboration.
For more information on why you should consider having your child participate in one of our D&D Classes check out what scientists and teachers are saying about D&D.
Computer programming is writing a group of instructions for a computer to process/execute. These instructions are typically used to solve a problem, or, to make larger problems shorter and easier to solve. In our Cache Makers 4-H Computer Programing classes we teach everything from learning how to code simple Arduino's to raspberry PI.
We also teach students how to use existing computer programs to create videos, edit, put pictures together, how to use tinker cad, as well as other programs to operate 3D printers, CNC, laser cutters, and a whole host of other exciting and fun programs.
In many of our classes at Cache Makers we use components that require soldering. Soldering process is used in the electronics industry to bond components together, forming one or more electrical connections. Soldering serves two functions: mechanical support—holding components of an assembly together, and electrical support—forming required electrical connections within a circuit
Sewing is just one of many practical Stem Activities that we offer at Cache Makers 4-H Makerspace. Sewing helps you develop fine motor skills, improves your focus and concentration and teaches the importance of patience and self-control. Knowing personal boundaries, increasing skill, achieving tangible goals while working outside your comfort zone all support the development of confidence and self-esteem. Sewing, e-textiles, cross-stitching-crocheting are packed full of patterns, math, engineering and art as well as different form of technology to create beautiful designs.
