For beginner Internet users: I have tried to design this web site for the ease and convenience of all conventional users. This site has over 50 web pages within its structure, with links to many other web sites. Without some knowledge of the Internet, you could get lost.

Navigation though this web site occurs with the use of " text links" and "buttons." A "text link" is any word or group of words that have been highlighted and underlined. In the case of this web site, all links start out as green and turn brown after they have been clicked. (Example: text link) A "button" is another type of link, but uses a picture instead of text. This picture usually looks like what it is named for, a button!

To activate a text link or a button, simply move the mouse arrow over them and click the left mouse button. If you are unsure if a word or picture is a link move the mouse arrow over the object or word. If it is a link then the arrow will turn into a little hand, pointing with its finger.

I'm lost: Buttons and text links are placed throughout the web site to guide you through the information. Navigation buttons are placed along the top of each page, linking you to the major areas of the site. In order to move directly to a specific web page, the site map is your best tool. Simply click on the site map button and scroll down to the desired text link. At the top of the site map you may choose from the major subject heading to speed up your search.

Downloading images: Images may be down-loaded and printed for educational purposes. Any publication or use of these pictures for money must be approved by Steve Dewey, of the USU Extension Service. To download, move your mouse arrow over the desired picture and hold the right mouse button down. A menu will appear. Move the mouse arrow down the menu to "save image as." (This may be listed differently under different browsers). Choose the directory that you wish the picture to be saved to, give it a name, and press save.

My computer is too slow: This may be true because of your computer speed, modem connection, or the Internet server activity. To speed up your movement though the site click on the text only link. This will remove all pictures from your screen, leaving only text. The pictures will be replaced with text links so that viewing is still available if desired. works cited/literature available Project leaning tree
