Volunteer Opportunities
The staff at the Ogden Botanical Gardens welcomes your help any time you can come. Simply contact them by calling 801-399-8080 M, T, or Th, 12:30-3:30 p.m. to find out what they need help with at the Gardens.
Currently, the Gardens are closed from November 1 through the middle of March. When volunteer opportunities become available, they will be posted here. Once the growing season begins, here are some things to look forward to:
- Regular monthly Master Gardener Clean-up Days at the Ogden Botanical Gardens (including lunch) 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Master Gardeners answer horticulture questions at the Standard-Examiner's Home & Garden Show in March.
- Master Gardeners also answer horticulture questions at the Crops Division of the Weber County Fair in August, and help with check-in and pick-up for the Floral and Photography Division.
- In May, the Ogden Botanical Gardens hold their Annual Plant Sale. Master Gardeners have many opportunites to help prepare plants, and assist customers.
