Cowboy Heritage Festival & 4-H Working Horse Gathering

The 4th Annual Cowboy Heritage Festival and 4-H Working Ranch Horse Gathering in Panguitch, Utah at the Triple C Indoor Arena is only 3 weeks away. October 7th and 8th 2011. You may know someone who would like to participate in one of the many exciting events we have planned! The awards for the 4-H Gathering are continued from past years with each participant having the opportunity to win a Saddle, Belt Buckle, and many other prizes in all age groups. Cash prizes offered in the open to general public events: Cook-Off competition, Extreme Horseman contest, Ranch Rodeo, and Poetry contest, help us spread the word.

The Schedule is as follows:
October 7th:
2pm– Western Arts and Trade Show
3pm– Cowboy Jubilee- which is an Open Mic for Cowboy Music and Poetry
4:30– Honoring of Garfield Counties Local Lifetime Cowboys
5pm– Dutch Oven Dinner (tickets limited to general public)
6pm– Open Ranch Rodeo- For all ages Kids to Adults with Cash payouts in all events

October 8th:
9am- Western Arts and Trade Show
9am- Cowboy Chili Cook-Off begins
10am–4-H WRH Gathering- Saddle for each 4-H age group champion
12pm–Cowboy Bean Chili Cook Off Lunch- Public Votes for the winner so come sample chili
2pm- Cowboy Poetry Contest
5pm—Extreme Horseman Challenge-Belt Buckle and cash prizes for top placings

Be informed, the deadline for 4-H Working Ranch Horse Gathering Registration is September 20, 2011 (next week).  Registration can be mailed to our office or completed and paid online.

Please inform 4-H youth and area residents in your county of the events and registration deadlines.
