Wellness Works Utah Walk Across Utah - Week 9

Everyone has done GREAT these past 10 weeks.  Participation in Walk-Across-Utah has been outstanding. You’re commitment and participation has been strong and consistent, and some of our teams have already reached the 975 miles going “down” the state, so we’ve added an additional leg of the journey going back “up” and to some different sites, including Capitol Reef National Park.

Just a couple of thoughts as we reach our last two weeks in the program.

 The final day to report data for your team will be Sunday, June 27th

Grand Prize Drawing: July 3rd 11:00 Torrey Park for Torrey Apple days

To qualify for the grand prize drawing, you will need to complete the post-test June 29th- July 2nd. Please see list of times and places below. (Post-test includes blood pressure, step-test, weight, body fat, and a brief questioner)

- Tuesday, June 29th         Extension Office in Loa             10am 1:30pm

-  Thursday, July 1            Bicknell Community Center        5pm-7pm

- Friday, July 2                 Extension Office in Loa             11-2pm

Also, remember the 5k run, and 10 mile run this Saturday. Registration is at 8:00 at the SandCreek/Velvet ridge trail head.
