scienceAnnouncing National Youth Science Day - October 6, 2010

This is your chance to become involved in science!

Visit the 4-H National Youth Science Day website.

During this year's 4-H National Youth Science Day, millions of youth will actively participate in a live demonstration of how carbon dioxide impacts water quality and the effects of climate change. Join them by participating in 4-H2O - this year's National Science Experiment.

Here in Wayne County, the SET Squad will also be focusing on the topic of Astronomy during September and October.

During the third annual 4-H National Youth Science Day, 4-H expanded its effort to develop America's future workforce of scientists, engineers, and technology experts. As the youth development program of USDA's Cooperative Extension System, 4-H has a long history of producing great thinkers - with a wide variety of hands-on programs all based on the latest research from the nation's 109 Land-grant Universities.

If you'd like to get involved locally, contact the USU Extension Office.
