Water Quality Tools

USU Water Quality Extension offers a variety of tools that can be used for data analysis and data manipulation. 

• The Water Quality Interpretation Tools allow users to enter their water quality data online and receive interpretation of those data pertaining to drinking water, irrigation water, livestock water, and environmental water state standards. 

  • Follow this link for interpretation of drinking water results.  This link takes you to the Northern Plains and Mountains Regional Water Program Water Quality Interpretation Tool that includes water quality criteria for Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming.

  • Follow this link for interpretation of Utah's livestock, irrigation, and aquatic life/recreation water quality criteria.

• The Riparian Calculator allows users to calculate various loadings coming off of the land in relation to the riparian buffer areas.
