The Adopt - A - Waterbody program is a partnership between USU Water Quality Extension, Utah Department of Water Quality, Utah Department of Natural Resources, and Utah Department of Food and Agriculture. To become a volunteer in this program click on the official Adopt - A - Waterbody site and fill out the online application at the bottom of the page.
Joining the Adopt - A - Waterbody program is a great way to become involved and make a difference in your communities watershed.
Clean up projects, tree planting, participating in watershed groups are just a few ways people can get involved. In 2003, students from around the Bear River Watershed adopted the creek running through the American West Heritage Center.
