Water Quality

Welcome to Utah State University Extension's Water Quality Website

We provide a variety of information and programs that help the public protect the quality of Utah's streams and rivers, lakes, and reservoirs, and groundwater.

We offer a variety of programs, presentations, fact sheets, publications, and trainings for anyone interested in learning about how everyday activities    can affect water quality. We provide materials and other support, including training and workshops for teachers, watershed coordinators, volunteers, etc. on different water quality issues.

The links on the left offer detailed information on topics ranging from comprehensive nutrient planning for dairies, to lesson plans on aquatic insects and their adaptations. Also browse through the "What's New?" page to see our recent publications, upcoming events, activities, and programs.
