Natural Resource Field Days

 

Welcome to the Natural Resource Field Days 2009!

We are very excited to have you attend the NR Field Days program this year!  In order to prepare you and your students for this program, please look over the following materials, and call Laura Hines at (435) 797-2580 if you have any questions.

If you are interested in helping with NR Field Days, please contact Laura Hines at (435) 797-2580.  If you are a volunteer, please read over the lesson plans below to familiarize yourself with the activities.  Volunteer training will be September 9th, at 9:00 am and 3:00 pm in NR 204.

Reminders!

  • We will be outside all day.  Please advise your students to dress appropriately.  We have had rain in the past!
  • Please remind your students to bring water.  We will provide water jugs for refills.
  • We will be doing some activities near the river.  If students get their feet wet, they will be wet all day!
  • Please talk to your students about appropriate field trip behavior and the importance of respecting the area we will be using for the day.
