USU's "Bugs Don't Bug Me" program provides lesson plans and activities related to aquatic macroinvertebrates. Topics include adaptations, life stages, feeding habits, identification and the use of macroinvertebrates as water quality indicators.
These lessons are best suited for elementary school classes. For upper level activities related to macroinvertebrates, please see the Stream Side Science Curriculum.
