    Utah Stream Team

The Utah Stream Team manual is an educational tool designed to help both formal and informal educators implement fun and exciting science activities into their teaching. It is ideal for students or watershed groups, with it's emphasis on hands-on learning and activities. The manual goes through the process of designing a monitoring program, how to prepare for field work, how to collect data, and what can be done following data collection. Instruction and data sheets are included for parameters such as pH, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, ammonia, nitrate, and temperature. Lessons involving stream properties and aquatic macroinvertebrates are also included in the manual. The Utah Stream Team program has activities directly linked to the 9th grade curriculum.

We provide training, combined with the Stream Side Science Curriculum, a detailed manual and monitoring equipment. Trainings can give you USOE continuing educating credit or USU credit.
