The 2009 workshop begins Tuesday morning, March 10, with a continental breakfast at 7:30 AM. General Session A is the first presentation at 8:30 AM, followed by seven concurrent topics throughout the next two days. A banquet will be held Tuesday evening, March 10, featuring entertainment by the Bar G Wranglers. The workshop ends at noon on March 11. Pre-registration is ongoing through February 13, 2009. On-site registration begins Monday, March 9, from 2 to 7 PM and continues at 7 AM both Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.
In conjunction with the workshop, a scramble-format golf tournament will be held at the Green Springs Golf Course in Washington City on Monday, March 9, beginning at 9:00 AM. Registration for the tournament is required.
Following the conference, plan on attending a two-hour field trip in Delta on March 11 to visit some of the canal automation and flow measurement systems that are in wide use in the Sevier River Basin. This brief tour will focus on measurement and reporting of canal flows and how these are used in automation of irrigation diversion.
