Helping you share Utah's natural world!

Utah's amazing natural world ranges from high mountain peaks to desert basins and Great Salt Lake wetlands. Here at Utah Nature Explorers, our mission is to help teachers share this natural world with their students.

Utah Nature Explorers provides teachers with free lesson plans, books, and equipment to meet Utah’s core curriculum standards. Each lesson plan has simplified teaching instructions with integrative activities to engage K-12 students. Whether lessons take place outside or inside, students can increase their understanding of Utah’s natural world by using our field equipment and library books. Teachers benefit from Utah Nature Explorers’ community forum and from professional development resources and field courses from our partner program, Utah Master Naturalist.
