4-H Youth Programs

4-H youth programs offer a variety of fun and educational programs for kids primarily from ages 8 (must be in the 3rd grade) through 12th grade. Our youth programs include after-school clubs, youth camps, and community, project, and family clubs.  These programs are run by the Extension Office Staff, Volunteer 4-H Leaders, and parents. The youth programs offered by 4-H include over 100 project areas from outdoor recreation to robotics.  UPCOMING CLASSES AND EVENTS

Cloverbud Club

Attention K-2nd graders ! This club is just for you! You'll do all sorts of fun things like learn how to make no-bake chocolate cookies. The cost is $2 for each club meeting. If you haven't already joined    4-H, an annual $3 registration fee should be paid too. The club meetings will be held on Thursdays from 4:30-5:30 p.m. The next meetings scheduled are June 17th and July 15th  Please sign up by calling 435-277-2409 by 6 pm the Thursday before club meeting. Must register no later than 4 days prior to the meeting date and the fee is $3 per session

          USU Aggie Adventures! Go Green!

June 25th-27th for 3rd and 4th graders! This highly interactive camp will have lots of hands on learning experiences. Make new discoveries at this fun and exciting 3 day  camp.  Go Green doing many environmental science experiments and having loads of fun too! Sign up today! (9am- 12pm)  Registration due by June 18th! The cost is $15

Camera Creativity

July 1st-3rd (1pm-5pm) Learn how your camera works at this exciting  photography camp. Create special effects and learn how to mat and frame your best photographs. An optional picture taking field trip will be July 3rd at 7:30 a.m. 3rd grade and up. Registration is due June 25th camp cost is $5.

Surfs Up at 4-h Sew Camp

 July 8th-10th. (10am-3pm bring a lunch) Join us for this fun beach themed sewing camp. You will make a beach bag and other fun summer projects. You'll need an adult helper to accompany you as your "camp assistant": This camp is for beginning to advanced-beginning sewers. (if you are a more advanced sewer contact Darlene about the June Advanced sew camp.)  3rd grade and up. (10am-3pm bring a lunch). Registration will be due by July 2nd and is $10 plus fabric.

Pie Pop making!

 July 16th What is a pie pop you ask? It's a tiny little cute pie on a lollipop stick that begs to be eaten!  Register and pay before July 11th, sign up early camp limited to 15! $5

Christmas in July

July 17th-18th  Santa Clause is coming to town, in July!! Join the fun with holiday baking and making crafts. 3rd grade and up. 10am-1pm registration due July 9th and costs $10


"Fun"damental Science

July 22nd-23rd  Put science to the "FUN" test. Build wacky creations, design and launch a rocket, construct strong structures, and shoot candy out through a chemical reaction. It's not rocket science, oh wait, yes it is! 3rd grade and up. Register by July 16th! $10

Cupcake Wars

July 23rd Come bake in teams of two & create yummy recipes! Then go to war with fun, sticky cupcake games! 3rd grade and up. $8 per team of two, paid and registered by July 18th

Frost that cake!

July 25th-26th Learn how to frost a cake and decorate it. Learn tips and techniques for decorating lots of different cakes "Layer 1-Beginners"  Layer-2 Advanced Beginners. 3rd grade and up. Register by July 18th. $1

  Nature up close!

Aug 7-8 Spend time outside learning about the importance of the earth and natural resources, alternative energy resources, and GPS technology. For 3rd grade and Up.  $5 registration due by Aug 5th.
