The information presented was taken from articles written by Dr. Skogrand, Dr. Higginbotham, Dr. Adler-Baeder and graduate students from the evaluations of the Smart Steps program. The portion of the presentation is the perceived benefits participants had gained from the program. The second portion of the presentation discusses the recruitment and retention of program participants by agencies in the first year of the program.
