Master Gardener

 

    The 2008 Sevier County Master Gardener training will consist of 17 weeks of training January 9th through April 30th.  Trainings will be held on Wednesday nights from 6:00 - 8:30 pm in the USU Extension Conference Room at 250 North Main in Richfield.  Master Gardener certification requires 40 hours of instruction and 40 hours of approved community service.  Cost for the training (including textbook and supplemental materials) is $60.  Note:  A free soil test will be given to all those that register before January 9th.  Registration and payment is due on January 9th payable to USU Extension.  Couples or other individuals may share a texbook and save $40.  Former Master Gardeners may attend free (space permitting), but will be requested to complete service hours.  The class may also be available via Internet (ask for details).  Space for this class is still available!  For more information, please contact the USU Extension Office at 435-893-0470.
