4-H Youth Programs
Sanpete County 4-H Youth Program is dedicated to serving the youth in our county by teaching projects that focus on Citizenship, Healthy Living, & SET (Science, Engineering, and Technology), Animals, Agriculture & Horticulture through "learning by doing" programs and events with the assistance of dedicated volunteer leaders. If you’re interested in projects with animals, field crops, agriculture, or gardening contact Matt Palmer.
Project interests involving textiles, sewing, nutrition, food preparation, healthy living, science, or citizenship contact Anita Raddatz. 4-H Youth Program are communities of young people across America learning leadership and life skills through hands-on long term projects. Participating youth from grades 3-12, with guidance by adult volunteers, “learn by doing” in which they gain a sense of belonging within a positive group environment, cultivating independence with guidance from caring adults and peers, and mastering life challenges. 4-H Mission Statement: Assist youth in acquiring knowledge, building character, and developing life skills in a fun learning environment that will enable them to become self-directing, productive members of society.
