Urie Creek

Description:

Plate 1306X. Urie Creek 1941 – 2006 Viewed north down Urie Creek on Cedar Mountain. Letterman needlegrass appears to have increased, while erosional gullies above the stream appear more vegetated. Aspen in the distance has not successfully regenerated in many years due to excessive ungulate herbivory (Ohms 2003). This private rangeland is grazed yearly by domestic sheep.
