Description:

Plate 829X. Shoal Creek 1914 – 1968 – 2004 Viewed north-northwest up Shoal Creek west of Enterprise, Utah. Willows appear to have declined along Shoal Creek, while cottonwoods appear to have increased. Pinyon and juniper have increased. The foreground is private property, while the distant hills are part of the Dixie National Forest. Sagebrush has declined in the foreground due to agriculture related disturbance and in the distance due to pinyon-juniper encroachment.
