Description:

Plate 1302X. Parson Webster Cabin 1917 – 2002 – 2006 Viewed west-northwest to the Parson Webster Cabin below Miners Peak on Cedar Mountain. The photo point for the retakes could only be approximated as the cabin has been removed and various aspen have died only to be replaced by others. The area has been reseeded with orchard grass and smooth brome. The cabin site has now been fenced to exclude livestock, though, it is grazed by cattle during fall. Historically the area was grazed first by dairy cattle and then more heavily by domestic sheep (Ohms 2003).
