Description:

Plate 876X. Telegraph Flat 1961 – 2005 Viewed north on Telegraph Flat east of Kanab, UT. The initial image was made as the area was being chained by BLM to eliminate sagebrush. The site was later seeded with crested wheatgrass to improve range conditions. Sagebrush, however, has reinvaded the treated area, while pinyon and juniper have increased in the distance.
