Plate 110 TEEPLES RIDGE: 1956 - 1999 The view is down Teeples Wash. The fence in the 1956 photo was removed and the area contour trenched, gully-plugged, and seeded by the Forest Service shortly thereafter. Mountain big sagebrush (Artemisia tridentata vaseyana) and snowberry (Symphoricarpos sp.) are the most common shrubs; the seeded grasses include smooth brome (Bromus inermis), orchardgrass (Dactylis glomerata), and intermediate wheatgrass (Agropyron intermedium). Aspen (Populus tremuloides) in the 1999 photo has not regenerated on the ridge or elsewhere in the photo.
