Plate 1465X. Taylor Creek 1963 – 2007 Viewed west down Taylor Creek in the Kolob Canyons section of Zion National Park. The original image was taken before the present highway was built by the Park Service. That road is on the bench above the stream to the left but is hidden from view by woody vegetation. Pinyon, juniper, and ponderosa pine have increased, as have mountain brush species, including gambel oak, Utah serviceberry, and turbinella oak.
