Plate 568X. Strawberry Point 1938 – 2004 Viewed northwest from Strawberry Point. Aspen has declined, while conifers, primarily spruce and white fir, have increased. Numerous summer houses have been built at the head of Strawberry Creek, though, they are largely hidden from view by the thickening forest. Pinyon, juniper, and ponderosa pine have increased below the cliffs.
