Plate 353. SEVIER RIVER LEAMINGTON, UTAH 1909-2001 Viewed east up the Sevier River to Leamington Canyon from the county bridge in Leamington, Utah. Woody riparian vegetation, including tamarisk, Russian olive, and willows, has increased dramatically, while pinyon-juniper has increased on the more distant hillsides. All the land along the river is private.
