Plate 480X. Seaman Wash 1944 – 2004 Viewed southeast down Seaman Wash from Pioneer Gap. The Kaibab Plateau is in the distance. Pinyon and juniper have increased. Wyoming big sage is the most common shrub, but some plants have died during the recent drought. Four-wing saltbrush and green rabbitbrush share the foreground with Wyoming big sage.
