Sage Valley

Description:

Plate 604X. Sage Valley 1960 – 2004 Viewed northeast across Sage Valley on the Dixie National Forest. Utah Highway 14 has been improved. Silver sage appears unchanged. Much of the spruce forest, however, has been killed by insects and disease in recent years. The valley is still grazed by domestic sheep.
