Plate 1052X. Rock Canyon 1957 – 2005 Viewed west to the start of the Parker Three-Step Transect in Rock Canyon. The area has been reseeded and is mostly smooth brome, crested wheatgrass, and intermediate wheatgrass. The site was actively being grazed by cattle in 2005. Despite selective logging, ponderosa pine has increased, as have juniper and rubber rabbitbrush.
