Description:

Plate 1245X. Red Canyon 1929 – 2006 Viewed north-northeast at the mouth of Red Canyon. The Sevier Fault separates the dark-colored basalt on the far left from the light-colored Wasatch Limestone, or Bryce Formation, on the right. Wyoming big sage appears unchanged but juniper, pinyon, and ponderosa pine have increased. This view is similar to Plate 140x.
