Plate 201X. Prospect Creek 1967 - 2003 Viewed west-southwest up Prospect Creek. The helicopter in the original photograph was spraying herbicide to kill sagebrush. The area was subsequently reseeded with crested wheatgrass. Sagebrush, however, has reinvaded the site. Native grasses, such as needle and thread and blue gramma, are also present. Pinyon and juniper appear to have increased.
