Plate 549X. Orderville, UT 1900- 2004 Viewed east to Orderville, UT. Elkheart Cliffs are in the distance. Cottonwoods have increased along the East Fork of the Virgin River. Pinyon and juniper have increased, though, old stumps indicate that early European settlers cleared the hillsides for firewood and fencing.
