Oak Creek

Description:

Plate 1234X. Oak Creek 1934 – 2006 Viewed east-northeast near the mouth of Oak Creek in Zion National Park. This is a government housing area for Park Service employees. Cottonwoods, all of which were planted, have increased in height and now block the distant view. Pinyon and juniper have increased on the talus slopes.
