Plate 741X. Nervine Spring 1963 – 2004 The Forest Service established two Parker Three-Step Transects, one utilization transect, and one pellet group transect southeast of Baker Reservoir in 1963 to monitor range conditions. Plate 741x is viewed north to the common starting point for all the transects. Pinyon and juniper have increased. Shrubs include cliff rose, bitterbrush, mountain big sage, and green rabbitbrush. The site is a major mule deer wintering area.
