Description:
Plate 124X. Mud Spring Bench 1922-2003 Viewed east across upper Mud Spring Bench to Mud Spring Ridge with Powell Point (10,188 ft.) in the distance. Pinyon and juniper have increased, as has Ponderosa pine. Sagebrush also appear to have increased, especially on the ridge in the foreground where bitterbrush too is common. Plates 121x and 122x were taken from the same camera station as Plate 124x.
