Plate 163 MOUNT BELKNAP: 1924 - 1999 Mount Belknap is the prominent peak at 12,137 ft. elevation. Some of the spruce (Picea sp. ) mats have changed shape and there are a few new “cat” trails associated with mining activity, but otherwise little appears to have changed at this high elevation site.
