Description:

Plate 124 MEADOW CREEK WHITE PINE PEAK: 1942 - 1999 Viewed northwest across the head of Meadow Creek to White Pine Peak in the distance (photo right). Aspen had regenerated shortly before the original photo was taken but has not done so since - - although most of these stands have not been invaded by conifers. Aspen has, however, increased in height, which forced a slight change in camera station for the retake. The tops of both distant peaks have been contour-trenched and reseeded (see Plates 122 and 123).
