Plate 101. MEADOW CREEK: 1921 - 1999 The view is down Meadow Creek approximately 300 yards west of Culvert Creek. The 1921 photo shows a newly constructed railroad grade, part of which was still visible in 1999. Meadow Creek’s channel was moved to the left of Interstate Highway I-70 during highway construction. Pinyon (Pinus edulis) and juniper (Juniperus sp.) have increased during the intervening years.
